That ECU issue would make sense because the 4LO button doesn't even feel like a button anymore. So something is keeping that from thinking it's in 4WD. I should clarify; that 4LO button is non-functional and feels the same whether the 4WD light is blinking or solid.

Jun 30, 2014 · Yes, I finally got to it and fix it. It was the 4wd actuator switch on the transfer case. Toyota want almost $1000 for that part alone and you'll still have to open the transfer case up to pull the actuator off. Instead I went a bought an used whole transfer case for $600 and put it on.
