It's essentially a G19 frame (in 9mm) with a hybrid G17 slide that has the same dustcover design as the G34 slide - covered underneath. That allows using either that slide or a G19 length slide. The 49 was never going to be a 10mm, and even the SKU shown in the pic above isn't a valid factory SKU. It's more like a Lipseys SKU for a G19.

On the older Glocks there was a 3 letter date code on the barrel - not part of the serial number. This date code identified the production date but Glock stopped putting these on the guns a long time ago. In this picture you can see the serial number on the left and the date code "BTT" on the right hand side of the barrel.
