As long as ur own values and judgement align with that, ur gonna be good. Breaking ur Oath also might be something that ur fine with, since it has an interesting consequence.
The reason there is nothing in the Oath of Vengeance tenets about not killing innocents or not kicking puppies is because that is assumed of the class to begin with. Their Oath lays out the code by which they fight that evil, but at the end of the day all paladins pursue a singular purpose: Promote justice and goodness by fighting evil.
