In this menu if you have an active army, you will see an army cohesion level at the top right. To increase your army cohesion, click on the button labelled +10. It might be based on party size but you can check the numbers in the bottom right of the UI. Really the biggest factor is party size. Culture and a lot of perks impact speed.
