This is my first time on this forum, and I'm hoping to find some information on a beautiful S&W Model 39-2 that I just picked up yesterday. The first thing I was curious about was the manufacturing date. I tried doing some research online, but couldn't find any helpful information. The serial number is A303589.

The full serial number is found on the butt of the grip frame. You will have to remove the grips to see it.
