Chief is probably the best when it comes to CAD Details and annotating them. But, I use it because for simple drawings, it is a good money maker. Thank you. My Material Library needs an overhaul. I have predefined some useful materials for quick use and quite a few don't rely on an image or seamless texture considering that these are not external or 'facing' materials. Before I embark on doing a better job and sorting out my current library are there any key things to consider?

You can further refine them by running "checkstandards" in Autocad. Also recommend "overkill".Check the Autodesk Exchange Revit page.
