Re: atlanta to glacier NP. If you're only planning on driving 7 hours a day, it would take you at minimum 4 days to get to the park, and then 4 home. It is probably more likely a 35 hr drive than a 30 hr drive from Atlanta.

There is a 17 mile stretch between WG and Stanton Creek where they say to expect 45 minute - 1 hour delays and it runs 24/7 through November. By the way the road between East Glacier Park Village and St Mary is now much improved, wider and less curvy...so EGP could be another more reasonably priced east side choice.
