As long as you don't leave your co-op, you can't damage it whatever you set. For example, I am now racing. I can now change my setting to non-racing. The colorful puzzle game is supposed to be active for 3 more hours but it was gone when I opened the game. The tasks are still available for the Regatta but no game. I rebooted the tablet, cleared the app's cache and uninstalled and reinstalled the app but that didn't help. This happened after I was notified about the update.

Also check the number of members. If you're looking for chatty, only try for a co-op with a good number of members. Be prepared to jump around a bit.
