Given that I found what looks like a Rubick's cube, I'm wondering if Project Zomboid is similar to Deadlight and original Day of the Dead in that it takes place in the 1980s?. In all of the difficulties (Builder, Survivor, Apocalypse) the setting is put to 0-30 days for water shutoff, same for electrical shut off. The only way I can get it to start again is by resetting my whole computer which is annoying just to play one game.
