Firmware doesn't matter. You need a switch made before July 2018. Nope, no Software vulnerabilities, that's for 4.0 or lower if i remember correctly. If you don't have a V1 unpatched then you need a modchip. no the scene has gotten too lazy and aren't smart enough to crack the switch lite to run custom firmware.
