Biggest issues for the rav4 is the road noise and loud cabin and outdated interior. That said, the hybrid is quieter than the gas model. Kia Sportage on paper is great. Nice interior, up to date tech, quiet cabin, and spacious. Between the two, I’d go with rav4. Maybe a little more denser, but the charging system would need to be recalibrated for fit the new battery. The prime battery sits partly below the floor so structurally it's impossible to put it into the hybrid.
