After about the 4th or 5th attempt to start the SUV the engine starts up momentarily but then immediately shuts off. UPDATE: This was the problem https://amzn.to/3attfa5 the truck runs perfect now. Didn't check to see what's happening out at the actual lights yet. Wifey noticed it once this weekend and now today it's happening often.In this case then this sort of (maybe) eliminates the crankshaft position sensor but leaves a flaky/intermittent fuel pump as a possible explanation. If possible you want to when you go to start the engine try to confirm the fuel pump is running. If you go to start the engine and do not hear the pump running then that tells you something.
