1976 Vintage, pre safety, Marlin 1894 44 Magnum. This rifle features a 20 inch "JM" stamped micro-groove barrel, gold trigger, and the original buttplate. I like the 300 grain jacketed hollow points for hunting. These have some punch reloaded with Hodgdon 322 powder. My favorite plinking loads are also 300 grain, but in lead format with IMR Trailboss.
