Of course any exocraft with the appropriate environmental protection will work, but there is a little bit of a risk in extreme storms whenever you get out of an exocraft to grab some. I remember one time, I was in the middle of a firestorm in my exocraft.

It's honestly hard to put a definitive pin on some things with this expo. My first save can't seem to get any storms to spawn at all, and has the bugged corrosive quest. After restarting and knocking out the creature milestones, the game is back to normal.
