They have excellent stats, look great, and provide useful set bonuses for wearing 3 out of 6 and 6 out of 6 of the set pieces once upgraded to Grandmaster. Personally i go with a light armor. The whole point of alchemy build is that you don't care about armour. You just fuck everything with cluster bombs. Full tank ursine bear mode all the way.
