This was recent price from VanceOutdoors.com. The Shadow Systems MR920 is a pistol that resembles the Glock 19 to a great extent, including size. This makes it the most suitable for concealed carry among the three pistols tested. The pistol is made in America, and while it handles like a custom-grade Glock in some ways, the pistol is unique.
I own both, and the only benefit the mr920 has over the glock 19 is thiner grip, beaver tail, slightly better trigger, and stipple. Sights are a plus, and so is the thread barrel for those that want that. The mr920 is neither better or worse than the 19 it's just has more options on it right out the box.EDC, competition, AND duty carry in 1 gun. The MR920 does have some non-standard things that the Glock doesn't, like a different sized slide backplate, a round nosed firing pin, and a different extractor spring set-up so not all Glock parts will work in the MR920. I made the switch to the Shadow Systems MR918 earlier this year, have two of them now (had three but sold one off) - one is my current EDC gun, replacing my Glock 19s.
