Mage is useless in F7 without Hyperion. The whole point of mage is to clear rooms fast, and spirit sceptre Nons will clear a room 10x slower than a hype mage. They also do 10x less average damage. Btw I'm pretty sure a 1bil setup will do much better than a 150m setup in crimson isles. yes if you can't afford Hyperion as mage ur dead weight. switch to archer w/o Hyperion for less dead weight and some more alive weight but still pretty dead. This is horrible to normalize, Hyperion is literally 600m and that is hard to get for most people. Also Midas staff can still be very effective if used properly.
