Aligned for vats. True for hip fire. Since yours is ari/hit so i suggest dont turn it into flamer, put a sniper barrel or keep it auto (auto barrel mod box is not available). Or keep rolling until you get Anti-Armor/50c or bloodied/50c and use Aligned Flamer. Use VATS crit and enjoy to see Earle melts :)

The auto enclaves with the right mods are (or were recently) very highly prized. With the flamer now being a commando, a combo of an auto and a flamer could be very powerful indeed. As well as the three vendors, complete every dropped connection and cop a squatter you see - they each have a modest chance of dropping a fully modded enclave weapon. The Enclave rifle, if used as a flamer, has less range (practically a mele weapon) and more damage. I don't think it's worth the grind of finding the Enclave flamer mod, personally. I've been using a legendary plasma flamer since Wastelanders, and it melts enemies just fine, and I don't have to quite be in snuggle range.
