Str/faith is a good combo. I personally wouldn't lower strength that much since it looks like you haven't put enough levels in the other stats then. I used winged scythe for my str/faith build until my save got corrupted. If you use stengh/faith then the perfect spells for you are beast incantations with the claw seal that scales with strength.
