My LML would pretty much instantly start within less than a second of cranking when not freezing cold. I'll have to time them and see if there is really a significant difference or just seems like a long time to me.

Duramax L5P Engine Failures. I am not suggesting that there is any problem (s) with the 2017 to current L5P Durmax Engines. I am curious owning a 2021 L5P myself if anyone has had any serious issues with this engine. In doing research I find problems like NOX Sensors, DEF heaters / tanks, and injector electrical plugs, but that is about it.

The truck has 73k miles on it, deleted since about 65k miles. In the past few weeks, it developed a notable vibration that will shake the entire cab of the truck between 1200-1800 rpm, regardless of whether driving, sitting still, in park, in neutral. Verify coolant level after the engine is shut off and the coolant is cold. If necessary, repeat coolant fill procedure Steps 1–6. If the coolant level is still low after having followed these steps twice, have the coolant system checked by a certified technician at the dealer for a possible leak. 2023 LZO CC std box 4x4.
Not a single issue until 4/04/2021. 7812 miles, had been driven 150 that day, 20 miles from home, check engine light, derate & shut-down in seconds. Lotsa white smoke. Dealer replaced fuel pump, still no start, no fuel pressure, lift pump working perfectly. Maybe $77,000 isn't enough to get one to 10,000 miles.This VSE unit IMO is best since there is filtration AFTER the WIF sensor. Single filter L5P aftermarket units the WIF sensor is on the 'clean' side of the filter....if the water light comes on then it's too late.
