That is how there are more than 12 devices connected to each Splice-Pack even though you will see only 12 ground wires actually terminated on the Splice-Pack. Also, if you need to remove the wires that terminate on a Splice-Pack, it doesn't matter at all if they go back on in the same location (of the 12 fingers on the S-P).

Install a ring terminal on the burned wire and ground it under the same bolt when you re-install the block back on the inner fender. They are attached to the inner fenders, one on the left, outboard of the EBCM and one on the right, behind the air filter case.
The one that causes the most problems is the common ground splice pack #105. It is a small black plastic box that contains a connector where all the applicable grounds terminate. It is located in the engine bay, on the left fender wall outboard of the brake control module and aft of the battery.

2011 Colorado CC Z71 2LT 4X4 3.7L with a few mods. when I turn the key, it seems every light in the dash comes on, but there is absolutely no ignition, no starter solenoid, no starter, no nothing. If I keep turning the key, eventually it will, or may start. I acts just like it did a year ago when i had to have the underhood fuse block replaced.
