Upstate SC. Sep 23, 2003. #1. I am trying to take the interior skin off the midgate and all is loose except I can't seem to get the 2 turning latches that secure the rear window in place apart. Hey guys Im trying to figure out a way of fitting a 10" sub under the back seats without losing too much function of the midgate. The only problem is I already have my amp for the door speakers mounted and wired under the driver side rear seat which is where most sub box plans are built for.
