Subaru outback driver window reset.
After disconnecting the battery, charging it, and hooking it back up, I have some problems with the power windows. The Outback has been starting and running fine though. 1. I cannot control the front passenger window from the driver's controls. The passenger window does go up/down when controlled by the passenger's button.
Using the passenger side switch to reset it, just put it half way up and stop, then pull all the way up and hold the switch until it stops. Then push it all the way down and hold until it stops. If it's not defective that should reset it and it will work with the driver side control as well. Using the FRONT PASSENGER DOOR window switch, roll the passenger window down completely, hold it for 5 seconds, then roll it all the way back up, hold again for 5 seconds then release. After the dealer reset failed to correct the window bounce, the service writer just use a screwdriver to clean out gunk in the window's upper channel. Problem solved!
