If there is, it would have to decap better and precrimp and crimp a whole lot better than a MEC 600, and not bridge shot and powder. A .410 might be a case where a single stage is the best way to load shells. I will say, that reloading .410's is one of the few examples of actually saving a large percentage of the new cost of shells.

Since I replaced that bar with a Universal Charge Bar, I've since reamed the holes larger on the fixed bar, then drilled and tapped holes from the bar ends.Both the old and the new styles produce great reloads for me. ... Adjusting Mec 600 jr. I bent the decapping bolt after I found out it was not in straight. The ez prime would not let it sit straight, had to add a washer to let it sit correctly. I just put the replacement in and it's been so long since I adjusted the decapping/sizing die on one of these 600 jr's I cant remember the correct way to adjust it.Aug 5, 2015 · The new MEC 600 JR's come with all the parts necessary to convert from 2 1/2" to 3" (assuming you order it set up for 2 1/2"). Other than the column height adjustment mentioned in the above post, the wad guide is also specific to the shell length. Bumping up your payload with the same powder charge might be asking for trouble. It doesn't take much to exceed shotgun pressure limits of 11,500 psi for 12 gauge. If the load isn't a "book" load, don't shoot it. The size master a true collet adjustable sizer. With most SG cartridge Mfgr's using steel bases the Collet/sizer is a much better choice.

I have it and don't use it. I have an old (1964) Mec 600 jr that I converted to 2 1/2" 410 and a new 600 jr MK5 for 3" 410. I have loaded a lot of rounds never needed the stripper.
