Addition: Best to use a gas stove, cooking pot, and 6 grenades to make a bomb, places at base of Gate/Fence. Takes about 5 minutes to "cook" the Grenades. This is old information. Grenades have been drastically nerfed since the plastic explosives were introduced. Now it takes 12 grenades to fully destroy a gate, or 2 plastic explosives.

Then you take an axe to a tree and get 2 logs. You put the logs in thw fence kit. Then you dig the logs in with a shovel or pickaxe. Then you put the 18 planks in the inventory of the logs. Mainly use guns that use these ammos for raids since they use less bullets to take down a wall because of the amount of damage they can do: 5.45x39. 7.62x39.

Many servers have gate only raiding and this would also help with "splash" damaged caused by certain explosives. As each fence/gate is already logged i cant imagine it would be too difficult a task to input such an option. Could easily be added as an option in cfggameplay much like the basedamage on/off already is
It’s dependent on how you place and not which side you’re standing on when you’re actually building the parts of the fence. But yes, you’d either have to place it from the inside or stand outside and rotate the fence kit before placing it. It only actually lets you build from the inside part of the fence so you’ll know if you messed up.You can repair them. Put wood/metal in their slots, and nails and grab a hammer. Yes, I know it let you, but that's not the point. The construction of an upper frame or wall will collide with the structure in some way, so to avoid it just won't let you. Most servers I play it's 3 short sticks + rope. But please bare in mind that I am pretty new to dayz and only really play rearmed server. Try different sticks or rope I couldn't make a fire with some sticks so changed them and was fine then.
