I would use Hornady's date. In my rifle I found 47 gr of CFE 223 and a 168 gr bullet to be too stout. Even popped a primer. I was using Hodgden's data and figured it would be good considering it was only .4 gr off their starting load. Same here, Hodgden data was/is hot for me in 308 & 223 for a lot of loads.
