The barrel looks good inside and out except for what appears to be corrosion about 5" from the muzzle...yet based on the face of the bolt, it looks unfired. If the receiver has the same serial number as under barrel on the left front side of ring with the bu or bugn proofs then Mauser firm could have reused a sporter inventory action destined for the gunsmith trade as these actions in most cases had the serial number under action etc.
