Basically to solve the problem you have to have the console turned off then you hold the Select button and you press power then you will have a small menu with texts, with your directional cross you go to the text (Enable loading external FIRMs and module) you check the box ...When you replaced the microSD card, you also likely temporarily removed the battery causing your 3DS to reset. I suspect the resetting is due to a power issue because that is a usual symptom of one. And likely again, the battery.
